Good day mamas and papas in the house, please I need your help on how to treat this issue. The things is My husband was unfaithful to me and he confessed his sins to me. We have been married for 4 years, together for 8 years. I went out of town for three days and he took a female friend out to dinner for her birthday celebration which he paid for. He bought dinner and drinks, then went back to her apartment. They drank wine and vodka and watched a movie. She invited him to watch another movie in her bed. They touched and kissed and since he was too drunk to get an ere..ion she went down on him until he was hard and then got on top of him. She was also in a committed relationship, but is no longer due to the infidelity. He insisted it happened because he was drunk, but I see the deception occurring at taking her out to dinner-knowing that it would bother me if he went on a date with another woman. He told me that he found her attractive and he was happy that someone other than me felt attracted to him for once after a long time and that he was really feeling like making love that night and I wasn't around for him to make love to me. Now his reason for confessing this to me is that he feels guilty and he is asking for my forgiveness, and is ashamed of himself. I reallt love my husband because since we married, he has never done something like this before till now. He told me a week after it happened once I had returned from my brief trip. I have trust issues. I can not understand why he would cheat, and he doesn't seem to know himself. We had an active s.x life, and had a good relationship. Why would he cheat? Just to see what it would be like? I don't understand at all.
