I found out last week that my hubby of 10 months has been lying about his salary. He told me when we were dating that he is earning N250k a month. I have a good job too and am doing well and I earn about twice the amount. He knows my salary and has even seen my pay slip. Which is why I was shocked when I saw his payslip from work last week that says he earns just N150K. I know he sends money to his parents and helps his siblings but I dont know how much he sends them as he doesnt tell me. But he allows me to take care of a lot of house expenses and i do it willingly and dont complain. I don't mind that I am earning more money than him and I have never tried to compare and respect his ego. What is upsetting me now is why he had to lie about his salary. It's the lying part that has upset me. Lying about his salary makes me unable to trust him. I haven't confronted him yet, am afraid to hurt his ego. I know he truly wants to be the provider of the family and as we have a baby on the way now, I know that we have to sort out who will take care of the expenses. Aside from this issue, he's a very good person with a kind heart. Should I tell him what I saw?
