Good afternoon mamas and papas in the house, Please advise me on this matter. I have a 2 year old girl and 6 month old boy from my previous marriage. I left their dad due to domestic violence a year ago when he wanted to kill me with my unborn child. I have just met a man who is brilliant with my children and me and treats us all well people assume he is their dad and he doesn't mind at all, but the problem is that he is 28 and I am 37, my mum says its wrong to be in a relationship because he is too young for me and he might be after me for the wrong reasons. Besides his mother would never accept me because if she was in the woman's shoes, she won't allow and also because my children are still very young and my separation as well. She is of the opinion that I not even date anybody yet till I am divorced fully but right now dating again is bad in the eye of God and man. My mother is a very smart woman but I don't think she understands the matter of the heart and how hard things are these days especially for single moms looking for true love and care. Please my fellow mamas, what do you advise I do? Should I let him go?
