Good day mamas and papas in the house, please I need your advice. I recently divorced my ex husband and I am about to marry my fiance who has never been married before. Everything is fine except that my ex husband won't let me marry my new guy in peace. This is my story; 8 years ago when I married my first husband, we were doing fine and we were so in love but 2 years into the marriage after our baby girl, my husband lost his job and he blamed it all on me and my little girl. He said our child was bad luck to him, he was totally insane the 2 years he was jobless, but I took all his shit and I stayed him, I was the bread winner of the family and I never for once disrespected him. My ex husband got a new job that paid him about 400k a month then and that was it, the beginning of my serious beatings. My husband turned me into a punching bag after he made me  quit my job saying there was no need for us both to work because he was making more than enough. I became a worthless housewife waiting on her hubby to collect even money to buy recharge card which he won't still give me. He was so bad that he even brought his girlfriends to the house. When I couldn't take it again, I told him that he needed to change his ways that is lifestyle wasn't conducive for our daughter but my husband took my plead wrong. He beat me till I was rushed to the hospital by our neighbour's because he said I was challenging his parenting. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks after that beating. When I was discharged, I swore not to go back to my hubby. I packed my things, took my son and went to my parents and my ex never bothered to check or ask for me to come back until I filed for a divorce which he willingly agreed too. I have been staying at my parents for almost 3 years now and I have been dating my new guy for a year. I met him in church and we have been super good together. Now my problem is my ex heard that I was getting married he started causing troubles and making scary threats that if I marry another man, he would have to seek sole custody of our child. Please my wedding is in 2 months time, please how can I get my ex to leave us alone
