My wife and I have been married 3 years and have a two year old son. As far as I am concerned my wife does not have any fertility issues I am aware of, but as soon as we got married she went to the chemist, bought Clomid and started taking this drug to get pregnant. At the time I did not even know what this drug was or could do, all she told me was that it makes it easier for women to get pregnant. Anyway after she took in, I was very happy. I told her that because of financial reasons we should space our children and that she should wait till our son turns 3 before we try for another baby. My problem now is that she has started taking the Clomid again. I saw the carton in the dustbin two nights ago. I did some research on Google and found out that this drug not only helps women get pregnant but it gives them a higher chance of having twins or triplets. It also has side effects and it is not recommended for women to take it without a doctors prescription. I confronted my wife with this evidence, asking her why she is taking this drug and if there is something she is not telling me. I am also annoyed that she will take a drug that can make her get pregnant with twins or triplets. In this economy I cannot afford to have more that 2 children, I am not even ready for the expenses of one extra child, talk less of 2 extra. If she gets pregnant the natural way and God blesses us with twins we will find away., but trying to get pregnant through drugs knowing it can increase the chance of twin babies, is wrong and it is too expensive for me to handle. I have warned her to stop taking this drug. I dont know why women try to deceive us men knowing fully well we are the ones bearing the financial burden of their actions.
