Good day house, please I need your help on how to handle this issue. My mother and I are very close because my dad died when I was barely 8 years old and since then my mother never remarried or had another child, it has been me and her all this while and I love my mother a lot but she is now forcing me to do something that I might regret. I have a good guy that I have been dating for 4 years now, although he is still hustling, he doesn't have so much money but he is a hard worker and I know he oves me a lot but my mother doesn't believe in that. My mother feels that if I marry him I would suffer like she did with my father and I would regret it for the rest of my life. She wants me to marry her friend's son who is a pilot and is 12 years older than I am. I have never seen this guy before, I don't know what he looks like but my mother feels like he is the best for me and she wants me to break up my relationship for him because he is coming into town next month to officially ask her to marry me and she has said she will say yes. Since then she has been very saucy to my boyfriend that he feels scared to even come to my house when my mom is around. Please house, I need your help. How should I go about this?
