Hello house, please help me as I cannot take it any longer. Me and my MIL don't see eyeball to eyeball, she has never liked me and her hatred towards me is influencing her daughter's heart as well. My MIL moved in with us last year after she fell sick and hubby brought her to stay with us as she was receiving treatment in hubby's official hospital. After she was discharged she said she needed more time to spend with us and hubby allowed her. I do everything in the house, my MIL doesn't help out (I don't even need her help) but she would complain about everything to the point that she told hubby that I am a terrible cook so she started cooking hubby's meal, my hubby begged me to let her just to let peace reign till she leaves but it doesn't seem like she's leaving soon. The new one now is my SIL is having issues with her hubby and my MIL advised her to pack her things and her leave just because her hubby came home late and she called him twice but he didn't pick his call so when he came back, she accused him of cheating and that one went back to where he was coming from. Now, MIL asked her to pack and leave him till he comes to apologize and she has been in my house since Friday now. She doesn't do anything all she does is eat and sleep and order me and my kids around. I told hubby that I am not comfortable and he said if it was my family member in trouble and he didn't allow them to stay over, how will I feel. I told him I was sorry, that I didn't mean it that way but he was already angry. Please did I do wrong by telling my hubby how I felt, plus is this okay or am I just being petty or overreacting? Please mamas kindly advise me on how to handle this because I am tired of having both of them around together because they gossip   lot and they hardly help out around the house.
