My husband left his first wife of 8 years because she could not have children for him. I was aware of this issue before we got married, so hubby made sure I took in before we did the traditional marriage. My marriage of 2 years has been largely peaceful except this one issue. My mother-in-law still communicates with my husbands ex wife on a regular basis.
I am not comfortable with this because she tells her everything about my marriage, good or bad. I don't tell his mother about my personal life, but because she came to live with us for 6 months after I had the baby she knows about how we live our lives. What I don't get is why my mother in law still loves hubby’s ex wife so much when she was one of the people that chased her out because she could not conceive. This same ex-wife does not like me and has nothing good to say about me. I just want the ex wife to leave my husband and me alone, stay out of our personal business, respect that he and I are married. I have spoken to hubby about this but he says I am being too dramatic. How do I tell my MIL to stop discussing my business with this woman?
