Good day Mamalettes. How do i get my friends to stop calling my hubby by name when they ask about Him while we chat or call each other? Even my elder sister who is older than me with four years asks ' How is your husband' but about 3 of my friends call him by name(e.g How is John) when they ask of him as if they are asking of my son or a very young person. Some of my married friends ask 'how is your husband', that's how I ask my friends about theirs too but I am tired of these ones that ask of him by his name, its not as if they even know him that much(we were in a long distance relationship for most part of our dating). I feel its disrespectful. Dont get me wrong I am not proud but we are Africans. Even my parents rarely call him by name when they ask about him. I have even gone to the extent of replying with 'my husband is fine' just to drive home a point but Its not working. My husband is 10 years older than me. How do I correct them peacefully or is it not something to worry about? Thanks.
