Ive been with my fiance for 9 years, since I was 21 and I turn 30 next month and he has engaged me but has still refused set a date for our wedding. When we got engaged 2 years ago he said we will marry last year, I asked him many times about setting a date for our introduction, not even marriage o seeing we have been a 9 year relationship and he had bought the wedding rings. But he had excuses his work, hes waiting to hear if he will get promoted, money and now with the Buhari era he is saying that we should wait some more years. I told him I can do registry but he refused. My mother has told me to break up with him. But I feel so deceived and cheated now.
So what do I do?  Im thinking do I stay for 2 more years and see if he will marry me or do I go my separate way and accept he just doesnt want to marry?
