The thing is that I have been dating this guy for a year now and I found out that he cheated on me with his ex fiancee. When I met this guy, he was lonely and sad and I could tell something was wrong with him, we started as just friends and he told me that his fiance left him 4 months to their wedding after dating for 8 years that she couldn't continue with the wedding because the guy his Muslim and she is Christian and her parents would never allow their union take place. I understood that he needed time to heal from the heartbreak so we started off as friends for 2 years then we started dating afterwards. A year into our relationship, he proposed marriage to me and I accepted and while I was busy planning for our marriage, my fiance was busy lusting after his ex, he would call her and talk for hours, I talked to him about it but he assured me nothing was going on until I saw them in bed together exactly 2 weeks to our wedding. I called off the wedding without letting anyone know the reason why I called off my own wedding. My family members and friends insulted me and called me all sorts of names but I didn't mind because I wasn't going to reveal why I didn't marry my fiancee again. Since then my fiance has been begging to have me back, he siad he didn't mean to cheat on me but he needed a confirmation that he was really over his ex and he got it.
