Good morning mamas and papas in the house. Please I need help on how to go about this. My husband and I are based in the UK, I am on a Naija Parent forum there as well and I found out that yahoo boys are everywhere scamming people. So a supposed lady sent a message to be posted anonymously and claimed that she had just given birth in the UK that in short she had twins and that that was where her problem started because she only made arrangement for one baby and so the hospital charged her double the initial amount and they said they would not release her until she  makes full payment. So she reached out to those of us on the forum for help. A lot of people felt pity for her especially the white women married to Naija men on the forum and they all asked admin to get her account details which they did and people started paying in. I was touched as well so I decided to send in some money but something in me said I should contact the lady personally and greet her first before sending any money to her so I asked admin to send her number to me and they did. The number was strange, I was sure it wasn't a UK number and I contacted admin of the page to notify them and they said the woman claimed she was roaming her Nigerian number. I called the number 3 days later and it was a young man that picked up the phone. I told the man that I wanted to talk to Fatima the owner of this number, then the man said wrong number that he doesn't know any Fatima and that he is the owner of the phone. I now said ehn that the woman that just gave birth in the UK, the moment I said this, he hung up on me and blocked my number. I knew immediately that he was scam and I reported to the admin and they took his fake post down. The problem now is that since that time, a strange number has been calling me with private number and saying I will soon die for ratting them out. I suspect it is the same guy faked being a woman. Please I need tips on how to catch him. I can't report to the police because I am undocumented. Please help me.
