Get Rid Of Cellulite & Stretch Marks With This!

When I got the news of my pregnancy, I was so overjoyed, and yes I was prepared for the changes to my body, the extra weight, the cravings and all didn't come as a surprise. What I couldn't handle was the cellulite and stretch marks I noticed on my butt and thighs. I freaked out, that was my first pregnancy and I couldn't believe that my youthful body will be like that after just one child.

That was it, I looked for ways to get rid of them, I talked to my doctor, did some research and this was what worked for me.

The first thing I did was to have a talk with my gynecologist, who assured me that if I exercised regularly and ate healthy I wouldn't have any problem with cellulite. A sudden weight loss or weight gain which our body isn't prepared for is what causes cellulite and stretch mark. And we can prepare our body by exercising and eating a balanced diet which will ensure that the body remains healthy.

Although, women who already are overweight before getting pregnant will most likely develop cellulite when they become pregnant. Another thing that causes cellulite is water retention and hormonal changes.

This knowledge made it all easier, I didn't starve myself, I took my supplements on time and made sure that I eat healthy and since I wasn't overweight before getting pregnant, I was sure I could do it.

There's nothing you can do about hormonal changes and for water-retention, the only prevention is to avoid too much rest. I'm not saying you should wear yourself out but take short periods of rest. Say, if you rest for an hour or two, take a walk around then come back home to rest again. Also, take less salt and stop taking all these soft drinks, they contain sodium which can increase water retention.

When I finally out to bed, I had a little bit of cellulite on my thighs. So I continued what I was doing during pregnancy, exercising, eating healthy and not resting for long hours. I didn't do any rigorous exercise, though, I loved taking stairs when I could and I took long walks every day.

Another good thing I did was to buy an anti-cellulite cream. You can also get them at supermarkets if you want, just pick a popular one that people have used and recommend.

The bottom line is, a little more effort is all you need so you don't say goodbye to your beautiful skin after giving birth.
