2. Round ligament pain
This kind of pain is most often felt around the second trimester of pregnancy, this pain is often felt in the lower belly, vagina area or one or both sides, it is common during pregnancy and considered normal. Why the pain? As your uterus expands during pregnancy, so also your ligaments stretch and thicken to accommodate and support the weight of your uterus and baby. The changes to it may cause pains to your abdomen.
