My toddler is testing my patience

I have an 18-month-old boy that has been trying my patience. He does not listen to anything I say.
Its so had to get him to sleep at night. Sometimes I get so frustrated that I beat him or hit him. I feel bad that I have been so aggressive to him. I feel like I am a failure as a mom. Any advice please?

Your son is not naughty,rather I see him as an adventurous child.
At 18 months, all you need do is to let go off stressing yourself or getting frustrated.That will give you the calmness you need to settle down and study the child’s habits and then know what’s causing the dicomfort.
To me, you don’t have a problem,rather you are one of the prIviledged women to have such a star as a child. Enjoy your status.
