I have an issue I would like to present on my cousin’s behalf. Her father confiscated the mother’s sister’s shop documents (her aunt’s shop documents). He got the documents through someone she gave them to b4 travelling out. She and family have tried all possible solutions to settle the matter amicably but her father refused to release them. The excuse he gave was he sent she and other siblings abroad and they insulted him (which is partially true but he caused the insults cos he’s very insultive and temperamental). The person he hired the shop to doesn’t want to leave unless the aunt pays him some money. The family on the other hand don’t want to take a drastic measure cos of my cousin’s mother who’s been enduring his abusive nature. The dad has a paranoid personality disorder. He allowed the wife and kids to fend for themselves since he lost his job many years ago. Her question is, how /where can she get a duplicate document for the shop cos they can’t afford millions of Naira to get her a new shop. Thanks in advance.
