Mamas I understand that looking after a baby can be frustrating, but spanking a 8 month old baby is ridiculous to me. My sister in laws baby boy has always been a cry baby. He cries over everything, if you don’t carry him, if he doesnt like the food, he cries if you put him in the bed to make him sleep etc. I try to help baby sit him sometimes as my brothers house is not far from ours.
But i have noticed that everytime he starts crying his mother will spank his bottom hard and this would make him cry more. I know she is frustrated, but this baby isnt old enough to understand why he is being punished. This isnt her first child either, she has an older son who is generally well behaved. Is it me or isnt it wrong to be spanking a small baby?

my dear to me is nt wrong since u said the child is always crying she hv to let him knw that crying always is wrong, she knws wot she is doing and u knw is annoying when a child cries for notin and no matter wot u do to him or her it wont stp him or her frm crying. pls allow her bring up her child d way she want him to b, dnt u knw children no matter hw little they are, they understand d mood of the mum. when my child cries wen is nt suppose to i spank him no matter hw old.
