My husband became born again a few years ago. While I am also a christian, I do not carry christianity on my head like some Nigerians do. Now I am worried about my husband, he has become very religious, its as if the new church he joined has brainwashed him. Almost like a cult member. He constantly worries that myself and the children are going to hell if we are not “saved”. He has begun putting church over work and family and giving money to the church that we cannot afford. He is a good man and a kind person. My heart is breaking because I don’t recognise the man I married and this is affecting our marriage.
