Question Category: Parenting & Discipline My child's behaviour differs from school and home
Anonymous asked 6 days ago

Our 6 year old son is in grade 1 and we have been having problems with him misbehaving in school since the beginning of this term. His teacher says he can’t stop talking, moving about and distracting other children in class and refuses to pay attention when lessons are going on. And when his teacher confronts him about his behavior, he starts shouting which disrupts the entire class.
The last time the school complained we decided to remind him before he went to school every day to behave his best and teach him the proper times to talk and play.  To discipline him my hubby and I have stopped him watching TV or playing video games during the week. His behaviour at home has improved in fact it often seems like the school is lying on him. But when I whatsapp his teacher she tells me something totally different. He doesn’t act like this at home and we don’t understand what we are doing wrong and what more we can do to help him understand and improve his behavior.
