I currently 4 months pregnant and engaged to be married. My MIL has never been happy with my relationship with her son. We have been together for 3 years. He is Yoruba and I am Delta. Anyway, when my fiance told his father about my pregnancy on the phone and he immediately reported the news to my MIL. He later called my fiance back to inform him that his mother is falling apart, crying, screaming and having some sort of breakdown.
Why? Because I have she says I have trapped her precious son with this baby. Apparently, she was under the impression that I was “just a phase” to my husband. She said that she always knew deep down that he would just leave me when he came to his senses
However, now that I am pregnant, her precious son will never be able to leave me. This baby was not a mistake, we are doing our court wedding next month and his parents were expected to come, yet, to her our relationship is “just a phase.” I dont know what to do now.

Poster, signs is everywhere that this your MIL will make this marriage unenjoyeable for you, wisdom is needed here, why would you rush and get pregnant when marriage is not yet done. I do tell singles, no matter how in love you are with a guy or lady, the moment you introduce her or him to your both parent and there is a rejection from any side pls stay off that person because there will be a problem in future, do you fuse yourself into where you are not accepted or welcome. if you were not pregnant me i will just advise you to forget that relationship.
