Hello house, I am 18 weeks pregnant and living alone. My hubby lives lives two hours away in Ibadan at the moment because of work and I don’t have family nearby except my small niece that stays with us to keep me company. I work most times this girl gets back to the house before me from school. The was a day I locked her out for hours till I got back in the evening because she didn’t have the keys to go in. I thought of what to do so I started dropping the keys with my neighbour but he is a single man and hubby is not comfortable with it. He says I am putting myself in a vulnerable position that I should look for another way to keep the key but I can’t give the key to my niece because she is small and she might throw the key away so I and there’s no place to keep the key in the compound or in front of the house that people won’t see it. Hubby came back on Saturday and he had to wait outside for hours because my niece and I went shopping and he didn’t tell me he was coming before. It was when I got home he told me that he called me to inform me he was coming but I didn’t pick the call. As I came back like this, he had swollen up, he was squeezing his face so I asked him what was wrong and he said where did I keep my phone, I answered him that in my bag and he said is that where my phone is meant to be. He said he is sure I went out to be with other men that that is why I didn’t pick his call. I didn’t say anything, then some minutes later my neighbour came to borrow my blender and I gave him, the next thing my hubby said was so this is how we do it abi. He came to check on you but because he saw that I was around he asked for blender that he doesn’t need. Don’t worry, sha tell him that if he sleeps with you in this condition, it will never be well with him again for eternity. Since he has been around, it’s been from one accusation to the other. Please help me, how do I handle this?
