Good day Mamalettes and Papalettes. My younger sister will be 30 years by June, and has been dating this guy for more than 5 years now. According to her, his dad was not in support of the relationship because he is Igbo and the wife is Yoruba. Though, the wife is in support because we are Yoruba as well. So, my Sis and the guy agreed to involve pregnancy so that the papa no go get choice. I strictly warned her against this but she refused. After some while, she got pregnant, they informed the mum and the trio planned on mini introduction and registry immediately and the traditional will follow before delivery. She told me their plan and I said okay. Unfortunately, the guy lost his job two weeks after the plan and the preparation stopped. {I forgot to say that my sister resigned her job due to early pregnancy sickness). He later got another job one month later but not as juicy as the first job. But, this bobo refused to continue preparation. In a nutshell, they have been living like cat and rat… and he has become violent too. Now, the mother called me yesterday night that they should be separated from each other for peace to reign. I sensed that the guy no want Marry her again but did not say it categorically. Our parents are late and every responsibility of putting things right seems to be falling on this tiny shoulder of mine. Financially, I am not capable, bcos I am a civil servant in one of the states that are facing epileptic salary payment. What should I do pls. How do I make them care for her and the unborn child even while separated.
I have blamed and scolded her, but yet….I can’t leave her in this mess she put us.
