Children are so sweet, and hey, never underestimate the intelligence of children, a baby can be manipulative, intelligent and a good friend to their parents.
And that is why no matter how troublesome and hard to control they are, we parents find it hard to do anything else but to love the little angels.
When we asked our Mamalettes this question on our platform
"Can you remember one memorable thing that each of your children said, something that surprised you, amused you or impressed you that still sticks out in your mind? Tell us something unique about each of your children."
These were the answers we got.
"My 5 years daughter is always writing a letter to me each time I beat or flog her she will write ''mum I love you, but you don't love me, please break that Cane and stop beating me I promise to be a good girl I love you, mum you hear? ''

"My hubby was talking to his mom one day on phone and at the end of the call he said I love you!!!! My 3 years old daughter asked him "daddy who are you talking to?" he said "my wife" she said "how many wives do you have daddy and who is my mummy?" I was shocked and the next thing she will say was "so you don't love my mummy again my hubby was shocked and quickly told her "I was talking to your grandma" and she laughed. Omg! "I dey fear this kids of now ooooo" When I was pregnant she told me I will have a baby boy so she nick name him "sababa" so when I lost the baby at birth she will come to me and say "mummy stop crying sababa is not dead he is with JESUS mummy he will come back with two babies two boys and one girl just kneel down and pray you will see them"

"My son has been calling dada from 9 months, I was like "wetin I do wen dis boy never call mummy?" "My aunty neighbour's first daughter can cry for Africa, when ever anybody beats her, we will all know that we are in big trouble, because she will cry for hours and very loud. There is nothing anybody will do that will pacify her, at a point her parents stopped beating her, even if she misbehaves neighbors will beg the mom not to beat her, cause we don't need noise, so one day her aunt came visiting and she poured water on the aunt's slippers, the lady got angry and raised her hand to spank her, the girl shouted "Aunty before e tie mu ife Jukwa ese oooo" meaning "Aunty before you beat me ask around oooo" every one rolled with laughter, since that day they call her, "Jukwa ese". She should be all grown now."

"My 3-year-old grand son cries a lot after been naughty, in the process I use to abandon him expecting him to be tired of his cry but instead he will be running up and down the corridor of the house crying and shouting "granma ,granma beg me ,beg me now, say sorry, please beg me now "

"My 5 year old son made me believe that boys love their mum naturally its not all men that are being dictated to by their mum. There was a day we were going on the street and we saw a nice car, he told me he will buy it for me when he grows, I now asked ''what if your wife say no that you should buy for her first?'' he replied ''I will tell her to wait that I should buy for my mum first''. Curious me I probed further ''what if she said no you must buy for her, he said ''I will tell her I'm not marrying her again''. I didn't know when I screamed haaaaaaaaa! on the road. I don't even know what to say again. So no one can come between a boy and his mum."

"Anywhere my son goes to and see flower he will come back with one to put on my hair and he will say mummy I want you to always look good and happy."

"I have 3 boys, so when I was pregnant wit my last baby we all prayed and believed God that it's gonna be a baby girl and we named her kamsiyochukwu with faith and since then my boys will always kiss (my big stomach). So when I put to bed and it turned out to be another boy my first son of six years talked to me with his daddy's phone saying that I should not come back with the boy to the house and that made me to cry, but to my surprise when I got home with the baby boy he called and said "mummy if kamsi don't want to come let her go joor," that when he grows up he will marry kamsi for me. And that really made me happy"

"When my 1st daughter was a year plus, she did something I normally tell her not to do. When I raised my hand to spank her butt, she said, "Mummy, children will be children ooh". That made me to put my hand down and I have not forgotten this since 2003."

Children are so amazing, and sometimes when they say some things you will look around to see if there is someone else around who said the word, for it will just be too hard to believe that such utterance can come out of their mouth. The more reason why you should make sure you don't utter dirty words in front of them so they won't assimilate it and start using it.
