6 Ways To Make Money This Summer

Now that the kids are on holiday, if you are a stay-at-home mom or you have extra time on your hands and you want to make extra cash you can do that during this summer break, now’s a good time to do it. Some people will travel out of the country on vacation, others will need something to engage their kids with while some busy parents will need someone to baby sit their baby, there are loads of opportunity for you to make money this summer.

Here are a number of ways you can make extra money this summer;

1. House sitting

Many are going on vacation and will need someone to help them manage their homes when they are away. All you might need to do is check on their mail, water the plants. feed their pets(like dogs) and things like that. if you have your own business, this might just be a side hustle for you.

2. Baby sitting

Great with kids? You can get paid for watching over someone’s kids, hopefully you will get to take the kids out often so you won’t have to sit indoors all days, but even then, you can find ways to keep the kids busy indoors. Although, if you intend doing this as a full-time job, you might have to get registered as a childminder.

3. Tutoring

Kids will be needing tutorials at this time, parents fear that before the school opens their kids might go dull-brained, you can organise a small tutorial class for these kids, or you be a private tutor (the price is higher) to these kids, just have a talk with parents who you think might be interested and if it’s general lesson, print out flyers, find a public school and tutor the children there.

4. Dog Walking

If you don’t know anything about dogs before hand, don’t go into these unless the pet is not dangerous(you know what I mean.)  if you are interested in this, that means you don’t mind cleaning up dog poop and urine.

5. Writing a book

You can write and publish your own book online through CreateSpace, they make the process very easy and simple to manage. And you can list the book on Amazon, if it’s a great book, people will definitely buy.

6. Being a life guard

If you are a great swimmer (not just good but great), you can become a lifeguard at the beach or swimming pool, it’s also a great way to meet people, it’s not a serious job, but it can be fun. Your job is to save someone’s life, say someone is drowning, you’ll dive after them and bring them to safety. They are usually employed by a leisure centre, private club, local authority, hotel or holiday centre.
