Pregnancy is not an illness, we all know that, but there are times during your pregnancy that you’ll feel like an invalid. And everyday task which you never had any problem doing will become an uphill struggle when you’re doing them with a bump.
Being pregnancy is a privilege, a miracle and a very important job in the world yet it can limit you whether you are at the early stage of your pregnancy, or the third trimester.
All of the simple tasks below will turn to a big feat when you’re spotting a bump, the good news is there’s a time limit baby will soon home to Mama.
#1. Roll over in bed
When you are pregnant, that’s when you know the luxury of being able to toss and turn around freely in bed. Thanks to your bump, you have to lift yourself up or get a helpful push from your husband to roll to the other side of the bed.
#2. Wait in the toilet queue
Well, get off the way y’all! “Can’t you see I’m pregnant” If you are feeling pressed inside the market and there’s a long queue at the public toilet that’s a problem, for if a pregnant woman needs to go, she needs to go “NOW” or she’ll pee herself.
When you are pregnant, running into the bush or toilet or any enclosed will be your thing, any slight delay and you might pee your adult pant. Even your child will laugh when he grows up and you tell him the story of how you peed yourself while you were pregnant with him.
#3. Driving your car
Maybe not during the early months of your pregnancy, but towards the third trimester, your bump will be heavy and sitting behind the steering wheel is near impossible, and if you try to move back the seat, your legs might not reach the pedals(especially if you’re short), so you’ll probably get a yourself a house arrest.
#4. Stay up past 9pm
Whether you are 6 weeks or 36 weeks gone, making it through a full day without a nap is definitely hard. With pregnant women, the word exhaustion takes a whole deeper meaning. If you’re watching a movie you would have slept off within the first 10 minutes of watching it, and going out? Forget it, aince it will require you changing from your pajamas and slippers.
5. Sleep through the night
But despite the tiredness and the need to have a long night’s sleep, at this crucial point in time, getting a good night’s sleep will be absolutely impossible. Something just has to wake you up, if you don’t wake up 8 times to pee at night, you have experience heartburn or Braxton Hicks or restlessness. And you can’t even drink yourself to sleep, poor you!
6. Watching movies
I know this sounds like exaggeration, but even watching movies while pregnant is a challenge. Every episode of “Mara and Clara” makes you cry until your eyes swell up. Then you’ll promise yourself not to cry again, wipe your tears and some minutes later you’ll bursts into tears again, breaking your promise to yourself.
