If you find Retinoid in any of it forms in your skincare product aviod it because there is a link to it causing birth defect.

Hydroquinone is often used to treat dark patches of skin, chloasma, melasma.It should not be used during pregnancy because of the chemicals. Many skin lightening cream contain hydroquinone. Avoid it because of the dangerous chemical in it.
This is a chemical added to plastic to make it stronger. It oalso found in perfume, nail polish. It is named in different forms such as BzBP, DBP, DEP, DMP, or diethyl, dibutyl, or benzylbutyl phthalate. Studies show that phthalates is linked to high blood pressure, ADHD, diabetes. Go for product that are phthalate-free.
Formaldehyde is commonly found in beauty products such as hair straightening treatments, nail polish and eyelash glue. it is labeled in this forms such quaternium-15, dimethyl-dimethyl (DMDM), hydantoin, imidazolidinyl urea, diazolidinyl urea, sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, and 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol (bromopol). It is known to be carcinogenic and unfit to be in adult and baby product. Go for product that are phthalate-free.
Many nail polishes contain toluene which has been identified as a carcinogen, together with phthalates and formaldehyde they are known as the "toxic trio". Aviod any nail polish that contain methylbenzene, toluol or antisal 1a.
Ammonia is commonly found in many hair dye product. Ammonia can cause irritation on the skin and lungs. It is better to aviod this during pregnancy.If you still want to dye your hair, look out for products that have little or no ammonia in it.
