Most of the food we eat every day are calorie-filled, take rice for example, rarely would you see a Nigerian family that won't eat rice at least once a day. And these foods are not filling, they make you crave more food leading to high consumption of sugar which gives you belly fat. If you take bread and beans in the morning forget hunger during lunch but take rice, you'll pee once and you are hungry again.
Here are other foods that stop you from having a flat tummy;
1. Alcohol
It only contains calories and the more of it you take the more calories you consume. Worse still you still have to eat after taking all that calories.
2. Caffeine
Caffeine tend to increase stress hormones, and in response, you’ll crave more foods. Caffeine is found in coke, cofee.....
3. Soda
Soda found in soft drinks like coke, Fanta, Pepsi, mirinda and every other fruit drinks and they can cover up the appearance of any abs you’re developing. So ditch soda and reduce your intake of salt also.
4. White bread
White bread, white rice, and other foods that have been processed and whitened have been turned into sugar and turns into fat when you eat them. Brown rice like ofada, wheat bread are better supplements.
5. Empty calorie snacks
The essence of snacking is so you don’t eat too much food but when you snack on chips, they won’t fill you up and when it’s time to eat, you might end up eating a little too much.
6, Red meat
We shouldn’t take too much of meat, this is because it takes a long time for meat to digest making it hard for us to know when we are full.
7. Fruit juice
Fruits are high in sugar and even home-made fruits are too and they turn into fat.
Fruit juice is filled with sugar–even the all natural kind. And sugar you don’t burn off turns directly into belly fat.
8. Hot dogs
Hot dogs and other sausages are made of meat and are loaded with sodium.
